First of all I want to thank Jason Jestyr for putting together an awesome Combat Workshop and an equally awesome notecard with freeform combat guidelines. I will post it here, if you would like to have an inworld-notecard, just IM me or Jason.

I also will post some additional hints and thoughts about how to avoid OOC-arguments in combat situations, and some edited parts of the wayyyy too long log - I tried to structure the log a bit, but it's still too long... anyway, I think it addresses some interesting points and might be worth the read.
