A new face has been spotted in Hathian. Chad Ray Woods, a 26 year old native Texan has recently moved to the area, joining other convicted criminals looking to make a fresh start after spending time behind bars.

------- A Little History ------

Chad had a pretty typical upbringing for a troubled thug his age. His father was kicked out of the family home when the boy was very young, and although he enjoyed a close relationship with his siblings, he was always at odds with his emotionally unstable mother. He also struggled with a learning disability in school, which resulted in Chad dropping out in the 10th grade, rather than face the humiliation of being enrolled in special education classes.

That's how Chad began street hustling and doing odd jobs for gangs in his area. The charismatic lad seemed to be a natural schmoozer and often found connections quickly on the streets. Chad was doing anything he could to make money, from hawking stolen infant formula and car stereos, to taking strange rides with married men cruising the town at night. Into his early 20s the young man really became as useful as he was loyal to those that knew him, and he'd do anything it took to satisfy his friends and customers.

But unfortunately for Chad his risky lifestyle finally caught up to him when a stolen Mercedes Benz was found torched in a rural county, and the crime was connected to him and a couple guys he rolled with. It didn't matter that he had barely a part to play in the sloppy crime, Chad still spent 18 months in lockup, during which time he planned to flee his old stomping grounds in the Dallas area and make a new life for himself in a different state.

Now Chad finds himself in Hathian, a place he'd visited a few times as a child but had never called home before now. After only a couple weeks in the city the hustler has already got himself a very cheap trailer in Batterie and a cozy job working at the Clam convenience store. But the cocky Texan is really looking to rekindle his old passions, and he's making connections around town to see if he can be of any use to other people.

Meeting the locals and striking up connections. Getting involved in shadier business transactions, and possibly work for more powerful players. Also looking to find long-lost relatives in the Hathian area. Chad has many cousins and uncles who might be living in the region with different surnames, and his own father might be living there as well.
