Freddy's BBQ

BACKGROUND: Full disclosure up front, I am also Cain (thecrimsonraven Resident). I want to bring Freddy's up to being able to draw community in. After all that's what barbecue is about. I'd love to see Freddy's have Bloc Nights, Cookouts, Potlucks, whatever we can get going to get some energy on the bloc, get some tables and stuff out in the street. I'd love to go through cooking roleplay with new employees, get some RP music pumping in the restaurant. Many people know Gabriel as a Texan Cowboy, he'd be bringing that Texan barbecue flavor to Freddy's and whatever else we can figure out. Gabriel would handle inventory management, vendor relations (I hear there are players in the area whose backstory includes meat production and sales), Employee Training, and the cookin!

 

UNIQUE: As mentioned in the above, I would make Freddy's a place to hangout for the community! There might be some shady dealings, some backend deals that makes the criminal element welcome. There's actually plenty of stories about barbecue blue collar and white collar crimes in RL news over the years. Some fraud here and there. I'm a product of Texas and the Southeast myself who loves barbecue culture. Would love to bring energy to Laveau.

 

EXPERIENCE:I'm currently a retail manager with years of experience and with past food service experience. My job responsibilities include creating culture within the business for employees and customers, employee retention, and training.

 

IDEAS:New players are so important to the sim and myself. I remember when I first got into Crack Den and, even if I at the time with 12 years of experience in roleplay then, now 23 years, it was a monotonous undertaking. Or felt like it anyways. I'd like to help new players by offering roleplay, as simple as "Come on in and we can play out havin' some food!" Just like my Great Aunt used to do with all of us down South on Sundays.

 

OTHER:Absolutely. I'd like to get some tables out in the street like I mentioned, get some music, some dancing even. Make the night air smell like smoked meat fallin' off the bone.
