PROPOSER: The Spicy

BACKGROUND: As the Leader of the Flamingos, I believe it must be a priority to be engaging to all those who wish to relax and roleplay in one of the sims more inclusive spaces. Staff engagement would come by long-term story arcs within the workplace, Helping with event setting up, training staff members, and general workplace antics, all of which can be done in roleplay format. I'd be around to focus stores long and short with staff and customers. Good, bad, the nitty and gritty, all interactions would be welcomed. Main events would be hopefully hosting at least 1 to 2 dance nights a month minimum (scope for more would be nice but prefer to keep as this until footing is found and such) and then with the bdsm basement under neither the club the protentional for more seedier events could very much be a possibility, however, not as often due to not wanting to take away from what Flamingo's actually is. Community wide events (Pride, street parties, etc.) Flamingos would certainly be a part of these possibly offering vibrant colours and drinks to the community.

UNIQUE: With Flamingos being the only official LGBTQ+ space for those on the sim it already stands out from others but to further push we'd be engaging with other businesses and sim goers, from collaborations to events hosting and potential for private bookings for whatever is needed (within reason of course). Theme nights where people can dress up and have fun for yearly events and random nights every so often just because. Plus being part of the LGBTQ+ community I feel I would be able to connect more to that side and offer a safe environment.

EXPERIENCE:I have many years of experience within Second Life and have dipped my toes in just about every aspect the has to offer, some dipped further in than others. I have run groups/places in a few places from the likes of other roleplay communities to running a niche community parcel of my own. With these, I believe they will help me run the Flamingos.

IDEAS:Being engaging and present with an active events board will hopefully make the Flamingos a place people know they can get reliable RP from one-shots to long stories.

OTHER:I think the grand re-opening would be to have a live music club night and while this isn't something flashy or out there it would be the start of the LGBTQ+ and allies having a space to enjoy themselves and the growth to begin for wilder events to happen.
