BACKSTORY: First of all I have already tried to get a business sign back for the motel. It came to my attention lately, that many habitants (especially new ones, who'd be the primary customers of the motel) don't notice it as a motel, because of a missing sign or otherwise indication. On a second step, as assistant manager under Ryoutaro, I have tried to establish business deals with local businesses (such as the diner and the Best Head Hair Salon), including cross-over RP and benefits for customers of the respective business partners. On yet another step, a coupon book is planned for the future, including as many businesses as possible ((all RPed out ICly, of course)). The general aim has to be to fill the motel again with customers and especially invite them to play more again with the business staff instead of simply walking into a room and lock it behind themselves. I have various ideas for that, but I want to develop them a bit further before coming up with final suggestions. As for Marissa's agenda, I play her regularly in Hathian for about a year now, probably a bit more. She started as a clerk at the motel and the Clam Store. When she got promoted to assistant manager by Ryoutaro, she quit at the Clam Store and concentrated fully on this job. At the same time she has build up a private RP-line and has always been encouraged to include official places in her RP (like having accidents to end up in the hospital or catching the smallpox at the epidemic time, despite being pregnant).

UNIQUE: Well, the first obvious reason is that it's the only motel in Hathian itself and more central and better visited (as far as I could see, at least) than the private motels in the outer sims. However, another long-term aim of me is to establish the motel again as a meeting-point for monthly events and a better RP environment for the daily customers and co-workers of the motel.

EXP:I am patient and listen to people when they come up with suggestions and constructive critique. But I can also be hard when the situation asks for it. Other than that I work at the motel for a very long time by now and know the place and some of the people working there. Yet there is still a lot more to learn every day and I'm eager to do so.

IDEAS:See partly the 'plans for your business' section. To conclude, it's mainly about organizing meetings/events (including the mentioned business deals, BBQs in the summer, maybe hot wine punch parties in the winter, etc.) at the motel and trying to increase cross-RP with other businesses and between workers and customers. This runs on both an IC and OOC level

OTHER:It's probably not another idea, but since I didn't get any response yet to my forum thread nor to an e-mail to Nadir, I want to use this chance again to suggest, at least, signs for the motel in general and for the office building, in specific. From the experiences I've made and the obvious lack of knowledge about the motel in the public, I personally think it's crucial to advertise the motel this way as a first step to encourage RP at the place once again.
