TYPE: Costume Store/Cosplay Store

BACKSTORY: She had a lot of fun at the comic store, but kept getting in trouble for her impulsive ideas that sometimes didn't flesh well with the family focus there. She also is huge into cosplay and costuming so this is where she turned when she felt she needed more leeway. It came about naturally through wanting to help people with their outfits for parties and then she realized, with the encouragement of her new friends, this could be a viable business. Her goal is to be the 'go to' person for all costume, make up and set needs. While a lot is comic based, it won't take away from the comic shop. In fact, she really loved it there so plans on promoting the comic shop through hers by having some more rare comics and referring people over if they want more of the popular stuff.

UNIQUE: This is something that isn't done by any other store and really caters to the CU population, which will likely be her main source of weekly income. They have a lot of themed parties and artists and nerds! The difference with this business is that it won't only be where you buy your next slutty costume, but where you can come and order things that wouldn't be in stock or just have my character find the perfect costume for you. This, to me, means people who wouldn't dress themselves up would have an IC excuse to go all out and be the talk of an event for once. I come across many whose characters won't really dress up, but would if there was someone pretty much using them as her personal doll. It also isn't only about costumes. There's props for theater, shows, films, or even just make up for photo shoots since modeling seems to be popular. There will likely end up being a small studio on one of the levels since she is a painter and her bedroom is getting full of her junk!

EXP:I'm a bubble of happiness and am proactive. Being bored in my store will never happen since I don't depend on people coming to me for RP or to create stories. Good leaders in RP are people that can go with the flow and come up with creative ways to spur action. That's me!

IDEAS:Lavy is going to try and use the store to create a CU comic and cosplay club - this should help spread the word and have people gathering in the common area even if the club isn't successful.Since it's on Greek Row I believe I'll be attracting many newer students and hopefully being their foot in the door since meeting people on campus is usually pretty hard. COSPLAY and comic-con like events will surely be happening (and very soon!). She is also determined to have a boffing tournament (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dQTfXerSAA)since everyone seems to always need to let off some steam. Aside from big events, she will be reaching out to businesses and having game nights and hang-out nights on the regular (trivia, jenga, magic: the gather, etc). She'd also be hiring people/businesses to cater, supply or photograph. Lot's of cross roleplay possibilities between Hathian and CU and within CU itself.

OTHER:It's already grown into something that exists on a very small scale. She consults with XXX to give them tips and costumes and help with sets for their comic porn parody. They also have put in money to invest in her business. Most of the party-goers in CU are recognizing her as the go to person for this stuff and eventually she hopes to get into cahoots with the comic shop once Dustin ICly gives in! I don't require any special needs or anything. I just would like to be able to advertise her venture freely and at times be able to use other venues for events.
