CD Theater House

BACKGROUND: The Theater house had previously been a venue for movies and CD events, both grown in-house, and proposed by other individuals or groups. I would like to add a number of things to that, and see that certain events become more regular. These initial events would be entirely legal, advertised publicly, and open to all. This section would be co-lead between Amira Xuanzang (Amira Moore), and Jeremiah Xuanzang. Amira is an experienced and exacting event planner, and with connections to HGH, provides contact with all levels of Hathian. Amira and Jeremiah combined provide an air of legitimacy to the establishment, and help to maintain the 'family business' angle which Audrina and Jestyr previously projected. Just a short list of thoughts in this direction: Periodic Burlesque shows Late night porn on certain nights Events centered around each major holiday celebrated in Hathian, to be held within a week or so of the holiday itself. Events held once every month or two (more if there seems to be a lot of interest) focused around providing RP opportunities to those with child AVs (imagine a Chuck E Cheese day) To act as a venue at which other businesses and individuals can book time to host a planned event, and the periodic execution of a personally planned event (theme dances, auctions, so on). Mingling with the above-board business would be others that are more morally questionable (or downright illegal!). This section would be co-lead between Rabid Calhern (rabid bedlam) and Jeremiah Xuanzang. Rabid will provide access to a large variety of criminal elements, and as a result, a number of events became available that might not otherwise. He has a connection with Zero of the (still in proposals) gang The Immortals, and that provides an avenue through which more criminally focused events can be discovered and explored. While Jeremiah is corrupt, he isn't entirely so, and the relationship between Rabid and Jeremiah could be entertainingly adversarial at times, and this as well could lead to some interesting RP taking place at, or around the theater.: Underground gambling nights (blackjack/poker, likely once every two weeks based on response) Bare-knuckle boxing matches, complete with rankings and betting on fights. BDSM submissive auctions This list is not exclusive, and will grow or shrink, and evolve based on response, the demands of RP, and the needs of the sim. Employees at the Theater would be touched via IC and OOC IM at least once a week, with hopes of setting up scenes, relating the their work, which could be played out with Jeremiah. Initially they would only work those activities which are legal, in the ticket booth, as waiters, runners, bartenders, and the like. Those that prove to be reliable (attend, as staff, a few events hosted by the theater and help out) would receive a note in their 'locker' explaining that they should come in on certain days when the theater is supposed to be closed. If they attend such events, they are given the opportunity to receive some IC financial bonus for each one that they go to. This would also help to expose them to the criminal elements of the city, and give them ample opportunities to get in or cause trouble. My character works at the HPD, and has a good amount of access to a wide range of criminals. As well, the ability to hand down 'official' punishment, or fail to due so, provides him with some degree of leverage. This feature will help him to expand not only the business opportunities for the Theater, but to find new ideas for events and the expansion of RP for everyone. For those activities which are illegal, Jeremiah would be relatively hands off, working through his staff, and would wear a full body disguise (different from his normal full body disguise) when at those events to imply that a second party is involved and runs that portion of the business.

UNIQUE: The theater, due to it's nature as a venue, is a bit different from many of the other businesses. Most other businesses provide RP on an 'on-demand' basis. The theater can offer that (with movies, porn, so on), but it will also be heavily involved with planned events, of a variety of style. The legal events will help everyone in CD find thematically interesting, and seasonally appropriate RP opportunities. The illegal or questionable events will provide opportunities for criminals networking with each other, and for people who aren't affiliated with anyone specific to find that special abuser or partner that helps them to develop their character. The people involved at the upper levels will also provide an interesting mix of possibilities, as Amira, Jeremiah, and Rabid won't always see eye to eye on certain things, especially of a criminal nature. This could lead to interesting RP opportunities for not just the three of us, but for the employees and even guests as they help the management maneuver around one another to achieve their personal goals.

EXPERIENCE:Jeremiah Xuanzang Professionally, I have been responsible for a successful team of engineers at my work performing on-demand work in stressful situations, with no major interpersonal or professional issues to date. Personally, I was the co-leader of a medium-sized guild in an MMO for a number of years, planning and coordinating raids, IC intrigue, and helping to moderate disputes. It provided me with an opportunity to directly learn about sharing responsibility with a peer without resulting in personal conflict. In CD specifically, I worked with Amira Moore to help plan the HGH Community Outreach event. This required coordination with a number of group and business leads in CD, and was pulled off in a relatively short period of time. More recently, I worked with Amira to plan and script Amira and Jeremiah's wedding ceremony and to plan the reception. Amira Xuanzang (Amira Moore) I have had quite a bit of experience with various MMO's, was an Admin at a small Forced Fantasy RPG, and also lead a large and exceedingly successful guild. This required the coordination of raids, ensuring a certain level of involvement with guild activities, and moderating disputes between fellow players when required. Recently, Jeremiah and I worked to help plan the HGH Community Outreach event, and the wedding, as listed above. At HGH I am one of two IC Leads, and work with my co-lead, the OOC lead, and Espi to develop and deploy plans to ensure that HGH is a fun environment, and provides RP opportunities to everyone. Finding new ways to spur character development, and incite fun and interesting RP opportunities is important to me, and constantly on my mind. Rabid Calhern (Rabid Bedlam): Besides my great pixels I am a known organizer and have lead successfully before. I led a gang for close to two years. I have organized and executed juvenile halls and prison sessions before the redux. I am engaging and will roleplay with just about anyone.

IDEAS:New players (and everyone!) are encouraged to come to the events. Part of our hope is that the events will allow everyone an opportunity to meet new people ICly, and for new players this is especially important. Those who sign up for the business will be touched ICly and OOCly after having signed up, and then once a week after that. This will help to keep them informed of upcoming events, and get them engaged at those events as employees. The 'underground' events will be rewarded ICly with small personal bonuses to those employees that staff them. As well, employees at any events will be encouraged to collect information on illegal or gang activities that they overhear, and deliver that information to the management, with financial or professional incentive based on the information, thus providing people with new opportunities for intrigue. Individuals can also be employed or recruited, on-demand, to perform certain roles that an event needs. Bikini sign girls and fighters for fight nights, judges for contests, booth attendants for the kids game nights, so on.

OTHER:We would like to hold two events in short order, were we to get approved, one for each of the major elements. The first, and publicly advertised one, would be a themed (Ancient Greek/Roman mythology) costume dance event and contest (with prize from management), to project the image of continuity from the old management to new by hosting a similar event. The second, and advertised 'underground', would be either a mud wrestling or fight night event. This would help to show the theme for this second part of the business, and get people interested in becoming involved with it.
