So earlier in rp there was this situation...

it started that I came into the pizzeria (my char was working there) and I npced an NPC standing behind the counter to whom my char went...

Now things started to get messy, not all details are needed, but one of the customers came behind the counter to take the money out of the cashbox, the npc who I emoted coming back out of the storeroom noticed that and tried to grab the woman.

Since I did rp the NPC being in the place beforehand I don't see it as powergaming that he reacted to it... also because I was just attempting his actions in rp too.

I am used to the rule not to ignore NPCs from other rp places, so I thought going behind the counter to steal the money while the NPC was still closeby was already an unrealistic action and I had thought it being more powergaming when I just had let the npc do nothing, since that simply isn't realistic in my opinion.

I will stay with that opinion, however if there is a rule against using NPCs like that I want to apologize for it, since in CD I have to follow CD rules no matter if I like them or agree with them or not.

However I won't let myself be called powergamer for it, since for me it was only realistic that the NPC also would do something. I didn't force any actions onto others I just attempted.

What is your opinion on that? I might stand alone with that opinion and like I said if there is a rule against it I will follow that rule. I'm just used to NPCs in shops etc. also acting in rp... so I don't see my actions as wrong. It might just be a different style of rp, not worth arguing about, so just curious on your guys opinions...
