Leaf spent a good portion of his teen years on Hathian's streets. He's 24 now. Been in and out of trouble so often, he's lost count of the number of times he's been locked up somewhere. His most recent stay was in a mental facility that abruptly shut down due to unusual circumstances. He's gravitated back to Hathian because it's familiar. It's home.

He's not a stable individual and has some really screwed up ideas of how society works. That said, he's generally pretty friendly. Almost always has drugs to sell. Due to his criminal history and current status as an escaped mental patient, he doesn't like cops and will avoid them whenever possible.
