carlito savirasaidGreetings civlians, criminals, gang members, police, and police who are criminals.
Lately, I have noticed (I'm not the only one) that there have been fair number of issues in scenes between the HPD and criminals. Also, there are things not related to specific scenes that people don't like it when the HPD does, or the HPD doesn't like it when criminals do. Up to this point, many of these problems have just resided on their respective sides and allowed to stew in a bad way.
The purpose of this post and the thread that follows is for us to put our heads together as a community, talk about what we like, talk about what we don't like, and propose ways that can make it so that everyone has more fun. Let's face it, we all need eachother, it's in the best interests of everyone who reads or posts in this thread to work together to make the sim better for ourselves, those around us, and those that come after us.
Let me preface this next part by saying, I loathe rules, anybody that knows me well will attest to this; However, in the interest of keeping this civil and constructive, I feel we need to have a few so that this doesn't devolve into finger pointing, insults, and blaming.
Rule 1: Don't use anyones name unless you are saying something positive about them. This is not for settling scores, nor should anyone leave this feeling bad. Conversely, if you are a cop who had a really great interaction with a criminal, or a criminal that thoroughly enjoys rping with a certain cop, talk about it. Mention the positive points here so that maybe others can draw some ideas from it.
Rule 2: Don't talk about specific scenes. Discrepencies between scenes are handled at an admin level and this will not be the place to do it. Let's speak in broad terms, as to not cause direct arguments or pick scabs.
Rule 3: If you have something you don't like, offer a solution.
Rule 4: Let's respect and learn from one another. Much love to everyone and thank you in advance for replying and offering your time and thoughts to this discussion. Let's learn more about eachother and create a better RP space
Thanks! Julian
