For those who haven’t heard, Perina will be retiring next week after a decade+ of helping steward our community.

The role of admin, or any staff member, is purely voluntarily, mostly thankless, and commonly requires dealing with strife and endless requests. It also means dealing with ME – someone full of opinions and constantly pushing back on the team! Admins and other community managers are so important to me and the community; if I didn’t have a reliable team, as I’ve seen with other projects I’ve had to shutter in the past, the Crack Den wouldn’t exist as it does today.

THANK YOU Perina for your extreme patience, loyalty, and commitment to both myself and the community here. I also appreciate the fact that you gave us several months notice so I can get things in order and smooth out the transition – it just demonstrates how serious you took your role here.

Though we bid you adieu, we will always be your second home!
