ellis-milletsaidI have been thinking about this a bit since Ellis' stints in jail because it seems so odd for him to be out with so little time passing after committing an act like murder. This is just an idea in my head so bear with me, here. What if one was to do the required amount of jail time given in irl time and then time warped more years passing? For example say Ellis commits murder tomorrow and had 72 hours max in the jail. Well I would serve that time out in world and then maybe say that he was in jail for 5 years. So when the time was up Ellis would have aged 5 years. I'm not saying that everyone around him would age up or anything like that (unless they wanted to) but I would want people to act like they haven't seen Ellis for 5 years. Would that be something someone would want to do? I don't think it should be required or anything. I think that time is something that people should decide themselves...my question is if this was something someone would want to consider doing to make it feel more realistic to you and those you rp with? It just always struck me as a bit odd when people who did serious crimes to be out within a week even in rp time. Even with Ellis. So I thought of this as a way to make it feel more balanced. What do you think? Again, this wouldn't be required--but rather just something an RPer would do for their character. I am just wondering what people's opinion of it was. 😈 |
