AnonymoussaidCall me a sissy boy, but I enjoyed calling for back up back when it was legal. BUT like many good things, it was abused, overused, chewed and spat back out. People sent massive group texts to entire gangs, which resulted in ridiculously large scenes, called and texted with superhuman speed while roundhouse kicking, machete chopping and balancing a basket of kittens on their heads. We all more or less know what led to the imposition of the rule. But it still seems a harsh way to go. There must be a better way to resolve it, such as setting up a rule saying that back up can't arrive earlier than after two rounds of posts, which I have already seen some cops do when they're called to a scene, only allowing a call to one person, etc. Do we want to change this and if so, how? |
