How To Rush (Join)

Columtreal University Roleplay members are able to rush, or attempt to join a sorority or fraternity on campus as follows:

  • Visit the booths near the clocktower on campus
  • Click on the desired booth to learn more or “rush”
  • Upon selecting “rush”, you will receive an automated group invitation to the sorority or fraternity, assigned to the “Everyone” role.

Rushing Process

To rush means you are attempting to join the sorority or fraternity as an official brother/sister. To do so, you must first join the group as outlined above, then attempt to role-play with official members to learn more. Rushing usually entails:

  • Interview process to see if you’re willing to be active and will be assigned the next level of “Pledge”
  • Completing tasks or favors for official members
  • Upon the discretion of official members, you may be initiated through a ritual (hazing) to become an official member

Ranks

Each Greek organization has their own rank and structure. For example, the GAG sorority has the following:

Everyone (Interested) > GAG Pledge > GAG Sister (little) > GAG Sister (big) > GAG President

The ranks above pledge is usually at the discretion of senior members. Be in regular contact and spend time playing with the group and surely you will rise to the top!
