Hey and Hello,

I've decided to finally pitch in on the forums, seeing as they appear to be decently used.

The subject I'm broaching today is probably something of a touchy one as it has to do with the characters people like and chose to play. However I think it's something of an importance to address based on the nature of the sim.

Youth Characters. That is, characters sixteen and under. (though TOS says 18)

I haven't seen too many of them about, however I have seen them. Now anyone who's read my profile knows I'm not exactly keen on role playing with child characters. The main reason for that is due to the reason I found the Crack Den anyway.

It's an Adult sim. Advertised for people with certain, violent fetishes. The following is what you'll find under the description of the Crack Den in search.

"Adult urban role-play based on graphic stories in massive cityscape; RPG crime violence drugs gangs police hospital forced fantasy fire rescue college hobo grunge trailer"

For me, when I found the sim that meant 'Great I can have some fun here without much restriction'. Yes, there is a 'red zone' implemented by the environment owner, however that, for a role play area of six sims seems so incredibly restrictive.

Say I was waking around naked, and my character was going to walk into The Daily Grind. But a child is there. My character would have to turn on around and go elsewhere. Now that's just a small example but it goes for everything.

Rape, severe violence and plain old nastiness shouldn't be hindered because a select few want to play someone under the age of eighteen, in what is essentially, a fetish sim. Not only does it restrict the use of all six sims as a whole (outside residences) but it can restrict characters actions as well.

I personally, feel youth characters should be NPC's.
