You can now also contact Dani Waters (Daniella Svoboda) about Fires. Use Shadoe ‘Doe’ Katsuragi (Shadoe Ninetails) as a last resort as she is no longer Command staff, but can usually get in contact with them offline if needed.

This goes for Haz Mat incidents too because we need people online who can respond with appropriate gear and equipment. Basically any incident that requires a large FD response.

Also Emily Cooper (EmilyCooper2) can give permission on the Fire Department side and all 4 of us, Rog, Emily, Phillip and myself can set the fire prims down. We have always had alternates in case RL happens and the original person who was supposed to be there can’t be.

I have no words for this. I know that he was one of the best role players I’ve ever had the privileged to play with and I will miss him so much. Prayers to him and his family are headed that way.

Due to a large amount of bombings happening lately, it has been discussed with the Fire Chief Rog Messmer and he and the rest of the FD staff have agreed that anything larger than a fire cracker must have the approval of Rog Messmer, Shadoe ‘Doe’ Katsuragi (Shadoe Ninetails) or Major General Aubin (Phillip Aubin), and an admin and property…[Read more]

I agree with what that Jack guy said up there somewhere. Instead of complaining about returning players or exaggerating the past or blaming the Sim administration or everything else I’ve seen put here, look at yourself. What have you done with your character and your roleplay to make a difference?
I see a lot of complaining from all sides here…[Read more]

Simple solution. Redistribution of wealth. If I see you walking around with expensive jewelry or a nice watch, I’m going to take it from you. Can lose all that money I get from the pawn shop by gambling and drinking in a weekend, and then start all over again. Rinse, repeat.
It’s all about liquid assets (pun intended) and living paycheck to…[Read more]

*Further note – Please do not copy/paste roleplay into your reports. There is a limited amount of space on the reports, and it becomes unreadable if too much text is placed inside.

Going to be pretty blunt on this one. As a longtime HPD member, I see only potential for metagaming and OOC drama with this idea. I don’t see any sort of benefit to it at all. Anytime someone in HPD makes a “list” – be it a gang file, taking DNA of anyone arrested, starting fingerprinting databases, etc… It always ends up being abused.…[Read more]

From a rules aspect, bail simply cannot be denied. If someone OOCly wishes to be bailed out, we do not stop them. Jail time is not mandatory. It is obviously encouraged for people to RP out their jail time, but HPD officers cannot deny bail unless such an agreement is made OOC.
If someone agrees that their character cannot be bailed out OOCly,…[Read more] -

Just two questions for now. If your character is taking on this kind of attention and attempting to intimidate the entire city as a whole – targeting medical facilities, emergency services, city government, law enforcement, and children…
(1) What kind of repercussions are you prepared to have on your character – are you prepared to allow him…[Read more]

Writing an Incident Report is something we will all do as cops at one point or another. The following is a step-by-step guide on how to write these reports so they are actually of use to those who may have to use them after you write them.
Incident Reports are only to be written when there is no arrest or citation in a crime because the suspect…[Read more]

Self-serving perhaps, butI have to say this is perhaps my finest 911 Dispatch post ever.<DISPATCH> Porkins blinked a second. “Gun?” he said, knowing that word. Sausage fingers flew across the keyboard as the theme song of ‘Eye of the Tiger’ echoed in the background, and Porkins began sending the cavalry. HPD, EMS, the whole shabang. Or at…[Read more]
