Ok, not really a saga, not even a short story, but it goes something like this: She had to deal with the gangs in Japan, which ultimately lead to her having to leave the country and come to the US. Now she's in Hathian and ready to lay the smack down on some gangs here, though not to the extent that she did back home (Katanas aren't part of the uniform, so they are relatively safe from being sliced to ribbons.).
