With the advent and the eventual full fielding of the new Wazzer uniform, I wanted to lay out the guidelines for the wear of it so we can have uniformity and not be confused on what your character should be wearing as there are a ton of customization options and frankly, it's quite easy to mess up.

For the time being, the older uniform which is on sale at the HPD is not to be retired for the foreseeable future and is still good to go for anyone that chooses to wear it.
At the bottom of this post, please post suggestions for boots/vests/duty belts that you feel work well with the uniform, there is no exact requirement on those as one or another might better suit your character's shape, build, and style. If they are approved they will be added to the master list.
HPD Uniform Guidelines for the new Wazzer uniform...
Shirt:
-May be long or short sleeve, cuffed long sleeve is authorized.
-HPD patch must be visible on sleeve.
-Collar pin, gold colored. Rookies/Officers will wear 'Police' pin, Senior Officers will wear single chevron, Corporals double chevron, Sergeants triple chevron. Lieutenants single bar, Captain double bar, Inspector star.
-Officer will wear the correct rank badge above left side pocket.
-Nameplate, gold colored, will have last name or first initial+ last name.
-Use of American Flag or 'Thin Blue Line' pin above nameplate is authorized but not required.
-All metal surfaces on uniform will be gold with the exception of badge which may be silver based on rank.
Pants:
Pant stripes will be a further indicator of rank.
-Rookies, no stripe.
-Officers/Senior Officers, blue stripe (2nd from left bottom row).
-Corporals/Sergeants, silver stripe (4th from left top row).
-Lieutenants/Captain/Inspector, gold stripe(5th from left bottom row).
Duty Belt: A black belt that carries the necessary policing items such as taser, handcuffs, baton, radio (could be worn on vest). If you want to add other fun items on there feel free such as medical supplies, or other things your character might have.
Footwear:
Boots are required whether they be working boots or combat boots, steel toe suggested.
Vests:
Black plate carrier tactical vest, preferably with a Police stencil.
