1) All officers are REQUIRED to read the guide to the HPD HUD. NO EXCEPTIONS

2) The max jail time is 3 real life days. Jail times for multiple charges WILL NOT stack. Arrangement for longer can be agreed upon between both parties. The penal code on the HPD Officer Guide is currently in the process of being redone using the charges on the HUD.

3) Bail is allowed. In the case that the Bail option isn't working, you are roleplay the bail out.

4) You are to inform the people you arrest of their options (even if its just a quick IM). Options include, phone calls, bail, visitors and the ability to see their arrest or incident report via the HPD terminal. By typing the word 'week' (no caps) the past 7 days of reports will show or they can try typing their name. Let them know the conditions of their cells and any lawyers they can contact.

5) I will say this once and only once... Do not arrest people and ignore them OOCly. Many people will not have no clue what they can or can not do. Information for people arrested by the HPD is in the works and will be available in the future.
