Just throwing out a recommendation or suggestion for the powers to be with all the upcoming updates... Is there anyway to consider the removal of the 10-codes for radio use? The reason I mention this is for the following: 1. After Katrina FCC (the radio folks that are in charge of letting police stations have radios in short) along with FEMA came out with a regulation/grant procedure for police and fire personnel and all first responders to eliminate the use of 10-codes so in the event of a major incident, multiple cities, states could work together universally without confusion. I think the only universal 10-code is 10-4. 2. It is really hard admits a serious rp with posts flying left and right to open a notecard and search through what a 10 code is to respond to or even call out.. And honestly I'll admit memorizing them? Not going to happen personally tho it may with others.. 3. Fdh at times helps respond to calls, they share a radio.. Not really fair to them as they don't use 10 codes to be oblivious to what's going on. Plus Ic it's been mentioned several times, that If all else fails call Fdh for backup.. If your scream 10-24 on the radio... I don't think they'll know that means you needs help.

Just thinking plain language may be easier.., but this of course personal opinion!! 🙂
