Columtreal University - The Teacher's Aide Program

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Columtreal University's Teacher's Aide Program.

The TA program seeks to close the gap between the student body and the faculty, as well as provide students with a job with responsibilities and opportunities while enrolled here. Our lecturers, instructor, professors and coaches have a lot on their plate to to say, and this is where the TA's will help out. With supervision, TA's will be able to organize classes, studies, field studies, and other educational events, while being credited for extra curricular activities.

What is a TA?:

A TA (Teacher's Aide) is a student employed by CU to assist CU Faculty members with various educational tasks ranging from holding classes within the faculty members sphere of education, as well as organizing studies/field studies on behalf of the faculty member,or organizing and hosting educational events around campus. The TA position is a paid job in a contract, as well as a sure way to achieve academic credit for services rendered. An excellent opportunity for those who wishes a future in academics, but also for those who simply want a letter of recommendation for their resumes.

Possible TA organized Events:
- Hosting Debate Club
- Holding classes in their Professors spheres of Education
- Serving as Research Assistants
- Conducting Studies/Field Studies
- Organizing educational events around Campus
- Serving as Assistant Coaches
- Tutoring
- Working as Faculty members personal assistants
- And so on...

TA Benefits:

- Annual Salary of $15.000
- Academic Credit for extra curricular activity
- Letter of Recommendation from Faculty member in service of

OOC:

This is meant as a fun way for students to engage with CU Faculty, while also helping out in ensuring that activities outside of professorial classes are being held around Campus, to create a more engaging campus life for everyone involved. What happens in these Teacher/Student partnerships, is up to the discretion of the involved parties, and CU in general.

PLEASE NOTE ALL STUDENT PLAYERS WISHING TO BE A TEACHER'S AIDE SHOULD ALSO REGISTER AS FACULTY AT THE NEXT AVAILABLE TERM SO THEY CAN OPERATE THE CLASS PROJECTORS - THIS DOES NOT PREVENT THEM JOINING FUTURE CLASSES AS A STUDENT. AT THIS TIME THERE IS NOT A SPECIFIC TAG FOR TEACHER'S AIDE BUT MAY BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE.
