Sat, Nov 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
This will be the first of a 2-part lecture workshop being offered by the History Department on Saturday, Nov. 15th. Instructor Jack Inkpen will conduct two courses, with a one hour intermission in between. Each course lasts one hour long, and registered CU Students and Faculty will receive 2 units, per course, for attendance. The first course is “US HISTORY 106: The Formation of the C.I.A.”. The second course is “US HISTORY 108: The Cold War”. Both of these lectures are the TRUE STORIES, and told from the perspective of a disgruntled U.S. Army veteran with a bad case of P.T.S.D. This is not your parent’s education! 106 is not a prerequisite course for 108, but these courses are better taken in succession. 106 will run from 12-1 pm, there will be a 1 hour break, and 108 will run from 2-3 pm.
