We’ve survived a lot together. Hurricanes. Floods. Fires. Violence. Long nights at the Clinic. The everyday horrors of Laveau and Hathian that somehow keep finding their way to our doorstep. Through all of it, we keep showing up for one another. This November, Port Laveau Clinic is bringing the community together for Bloodsgiving—a Friendsgiving-style community blood drive to help replenish our blood banks after another year of keeping Laveau alive. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring yourself. Gather around the table, give thanks for the people who made it through, and help make sure we have enough blood on the shelves for the people who haven’t yet.
