P.E with Professor Danzig Body fat and measuring (Jackson-Pollock)

May 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Professor Danzig is back in the gym for a hands-on P.E. session focused on body composition and practical measurement techniques.

Today we’ll be covering the Jackson-Pollock 3-site and 7-site skinfold methods — the gold standard for estimating body fat percentage used by trainers, coaches, and sports scientists. Students will learn proper caliper technique, landmark identification, and how to interpret results.

Demonstration & Volunteer Opportunity: Professor Danzig will be selecting 1–2 volunteers (athletes preferred) to serve as live models for the full measurement process. This is a real, hands-on demo — expect close instruction, multiple measurement points, and discussion of athletic builds, muscle distribution, and body fat distribution.
