Word on the street... Yesterday in Hathian, the city’s shadows deepened with fresh whispers. Word on the street is that an axe-wielding madman made a bloody scene inside the sanctum of law itself—turning the precinct lobby into a slaughterhouse stage before being tased down. Meanwhile, rumors swirl of a headless body found near the hospital, a grim warning painted in gore, and the unsettling return of a notorious figure caught skulking in a fire captain’s backyard, sparks flying before the cuffs clicked. Behind closed doors, a local meat merchant wrestled with demons sharper than any cleaver, fingers twitching with restrained violence. Trust is thinner than ever in these streets, and the night promises no mercy.

Whispers in the bayou... ░▒░ Down at the docks, they say a woman with restless fingers and a crooked smile threw back a shot after some strange run-in near the garage. She teased the sharp-eyed girl in the faded jacket and the slow-smiling man with the crooked grin, laughing like she held secrets too heavy for the humid air. Her eyes danced with a storm, but they say she’ll have to explain that night to someone brave enough to ask. ░▒ ▒░ And that wasn’t the only thing stirring—the bayou whisperers talk of a shadow drifting near the old penitentiary, where the Silent Serpent’s rites twist the Veil. Some claim the missing shipment tied to those dark prayers might rewrite who hunts and who’s hunted in Port Laveau’s rotten heart. ░▒ ░▒░ Mama Celestine’s hush fell heavy when the story reached her, eyes narrowing like she’s piecing together a puzzle best left untouched. ░▒ ✨ https://news.backwaters.sl

Rumors on campus... Columtreal’s shadows lengthened yesterday with whispers curling around the campus like smoke. The winter formal’s date slipped once again—this time sworn to slip just past the chaos of Christmas, but rumors say the venue’s still up in the air. Meanwhile, behind closed doors, murmurs of a pirate-and-mermaid-themed bash stirred anticipation, fueled by barrels of freely flowing rum and a brazen disregard for IDs—some say the party’s promise of reckless freedom might hide darker motives. Elsewhere, fragmented voices spoke of a chapel gathering marked by flickering screens and hesitant warmth, hinting at bonds forged in quiet desperation. Columtreal hums with secrets—you just have to lean in close enough to hear.
