Elsewhere, whispers spread of a masked brute—clown-faced and monstrous—terrorizing a woman on the basketball court, while another soul was found bound and broken in the Poison Apple’s backroom. Hathian’s air is thick with suspicion; everyone’s wondering just who’s next to vanish between flickering streetlights.

Meanwhile, at the Barracuda, an argument between a wildcard regular and a Syndicate hardcase left a shattered glass and more than one black eye for the floor to clean up.
