Intimate Greeting Concert – Tasha W.

Tasha W is a Freshman student of politology and foreign relationships at the Columtreal University, and a holder of an unofficial title Freestyle Rap Queen of Columtreal 2025. With a help of another Columtreal student, DJ Isabis as her master of sound, she transformed her thoughts and opinions into powerful lyrics.

Coming from a mixed heritage and background of the poverty ridden parts of the declining city of Shreveport, once a starting point of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, she draws on the musical legend of her hometown to bring themes of politics, social equality and environmentalism into her artform.

This is not just a concert, it is an open street forum for dialog in the intimate setting of the small stage of the Columtreal University Dance Studio.
