Día de los Muertos aka Day of the Dead Celebration

What it is-
The Day of the Dead is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2, though other days, such as October 31 or November 6, may be included depending on the locality. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay respects and remember friends and family members who have died.
Families build altars with the deceased’s favorite foods, drinks, and personal items, and clean and decorate their graves to celebrate their memory and feel a connection between the living and the dead.
It is thought that this is when the veil between the living and Dead is the thinnest and communication with those beyond this realm are more likely to be able to be reached to speak to.

OOC side notes- Dress up, come by the Vudu shoppe and/or Cemetery. Pay your respects to those who have passed before you. This is a community event for everyone. Think of all the Hathian characters that have passed. Doesn’t  your character want to link up with them again? Come speak to those who are willing to offer the deep dive into the spiritual world for you….. at a cost… of course.
