Not far off, a flare nearly turned Gein’s into a smoldering crater—some fool playing with fire, only to be saved by luck and a quick-thinking bystander. Meanwhile, in dim-lit corners, tension crackled: old debts and fresh bruises traded beneath brittle banter, as alliances shifted with every sidelong glance. Nothing in Hathian stays buried for long.

Meanwhile, at the Barracuda, an argument between a wildcard regular and a Syndicate hardcase left a shattered glass and more than one black eye for the floor to clean up. Over at Murphy’s Pub, a voice too steady for karaoke sent a shiver down competitors’ spines. They say the past surfaced, and last night’s spirits might not be the only ones haunting Columtreal.
