Word on the street... Yesterday, Hathian’s streets whispered of shadows tightening their grip. An off-duty cop, battered and branded with a brazen message, barely clung to consciousness after a savage ambush—proof the line between hunter and hunted blurs beneath the city’s rain-soaked neon. Meanwhile, near the Clam Convenience, two figures cloaked in menace—one fiery-haired, the other dark and towering—made their mark with an armed robbery, sending ripples through the precinct’s brittle calm. Word spreads of a grim captivity, a brutal assault twisting loyalty into terror in a silent basement where mercy died. In Crack Den, trust is a currency too costly to spend twice, and tonight, the game just got deadlier.
Rumors on campus... The moss-draped halls of Columtreal whispered darker tales yesterday. Rumor has it a shadow from the faculty’s past resurfaced—a predator cloaked in academic guise, slipping through cracks left by budget cuts and silence. Whispers of a drugged young woman found disoriented near Greek Row have stirred uneasy alliances, her memory fractured, her truths half-remembered. Meanwhile, the spicy scent of tacos at the corner truck masked a tense undercurrent—talk of threats, veiled warnings, and a blurred line between protection and revenge. Somewhere between the haunted asylum walls and buzzing boba stalls, the university’s delicate balance teeters on the edge, ready to snap.
