ΣΘΝ Movie Night! Idiocracy & Jojo Rabbit!

It’s been decided!   For tonight’s movie night, we’re saying goodbye (and good riddance) to election season with a socio-political comedy double feature!

Starting off, if you’ve seen the memes but not the flick, well, you can fix that tonight.  When not splitting a seam laughing, you’ll lament the de-evolution of humanity!  Yup, it’s the comedy that became a documentary, Idiocracy!

After that, we have Jojo Rabbit: a funny, poignant coming-of-age story about a 10-year old boy growing up in 1940’s Germany and learning to let go of hate as the consequences thereof bring down the Reich around him.  From what I’ve heard, it’d be absolute Oscar bait if it didn’t feature Taika Waititi directing and playing the boy’s off-the-wall imaginary friend/Fuhrer!
