So I've been here for about 3 weeks now, but still learning how to do stuff.

So here is a small introduction of Zule's background ........

Zuleika is a quirky mix of Native and African heritage, mixed with a bit of American southern charm

 

Born Oct 31st, 1999 on the Rapides Reservation in Louisianan, Zule was the youngest offspring of Chochokpi Nita Tohbi, a Choctaw Native, and Namazzi Bwambale, a Ugandan immigrant. The couple moved to New Orleans in 2002, looking for better jobs. Ultimately, the girl basically ended up living on the streets of New Orleans at the age of 7 after her mother's death, scorned and hated by her father who had turned to alcohol and abuse.

 

She was largely unschooled, save for what she could learn on her own, manging to get to high school level, but never finished. At the age of 15, she fell in with the Red Lotus Gang, along with her older brother Akello. Despite her lack of education, the girl was often a quick study, learning thing very quickly, which the gang found very useful and even picked up some survival and other skills along the way.

 

3 years passed and the Gang basically became like family, living on the edge of reckless protests, small riots and the occasional petty larceny. An irritation to the police, but mostly harmless... or so she thought, until her brother shared in confidence that he had found out the gang was just a front for something far more sinister, and the true crime beneath the ruse was gun running and human trafficing, and Akello had stolen important documents that could not only incriminate the gang, but also a few dirty cops involved in aiding them.

 

Akello knew he had a target on his back, so entrusted the zip drive to his littler sister. But the plot took a turn when Akello is called out as a rat, beaten and interrogated. Inadvertently walking in on the scene, there was a struggle as Zule tried to help free her brother, the sharp retort of a gunshot and a blazing pistol left smoking in her trembling hand, along with the horrible shock of realizing she had accidentally shot her own brother in the scuffle. It was only a sudden police raid that saved her from a similar fate, but watched her brother die in a cold, barren hospital room, leaving her forever scared with guilt and horror.

 

How could it get any worse? Well it got much worse, misplacing the disk drive that was her only safety net, the leader Freddy "Nine Fingers" putting out a hit on her, now hunted by her own gang members for the secret she possessed, along with the dirty cops who helped to frame her for her own brother's murder, dubbing it a hate crime over illicit illegal drugs.

 

Now she is on the run and evenally finds herself in Hathiana, a warrent out for her arrest for 1st degree murder and drug possession with intent to sell, fearing for her life as she tries to avoid the cops, often using a fake alias as she moves from town to town just to survive, while trying to find a way to prove her innocence.
