Hey Crack Den fam,

I'm thrilled to personally invite you to the grand opening party for my latest project, Everwinter, tomorrow! It's a casual OOC gathering, so come hang out, enjoy the vibes, and see what I've been quietly building the past few months.

What's Everwinter?

Last year, I had the opportunity to meet with Linden Lab and discuss the future of Second Life and the significance of community building. I shared our unique perspective from nearly two decades of roleplaying in Crack Den and introduced them to the potential of the advanced NPCs, envisioning them as guides for new Second Life residents.

Inspired by these conversations, I decided to create a completely new world in a fresh genre, expanding on a concept I initially brought to life on a single sim in 2022. My goal has always been to build truly immersive worlds that feel "living and breathing," deeply aware of the ongoing stories, lore, and player interactions. It will also feature a cutting edge welcome hub experience for new residents. Everwinter was built on this vision, now spanning 6 regions filled with high fidelity effects using the latest PBR and mesh tech.

Why Everwinter?

Everwinter isn't just another project - it's my sandbox. It's where I'm experimenting with next-gen roleplay systems and modern marketing techniques, many of which you'll soon see coming to CD. Features proven successful here such as higher fidelity effects, a reimagined leveling system, more engaging turf and tagging system, and all-new immersive storytelling elements is set to roll out in CD in the coming weeks.

This project also represents growing partnerships with fellow creators across Second Life; I'm already discussing some cool collab and special builds for CD.
