Born in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Wynter's unwed mother quickly went back to the states once Wynter's father left them. Moving around a lot, Wynter never had a place to call home. Four years after her birth, her mother "fell in love again" and got pregnant, of course the man was gone once mom said baby. Not being able to support two kids by herself, Mom gave the baby up for adoption. The next ten years were made up of moving from state to state, not able to afford living in one spot for long. Wynter's mom picked up odd jobs in each town, usually waitressing, but it was never enough and she usually met up with a man, got abused, and then felt like they would need to make a new start somewhere else again. As Wynter got older, her mom realized how beautiful Wynter was. They moved back to Costa Rica in search of modeling or acting opportunities for Wynter. Wynter was quickly accepted in the modeling world and supported her and her mother, until her mom died of cancer.

In Costa Rica, Wynter was a successful model. The recent loss of her mother due to cancer was terrible for Wynter. Her mom was all she had...she longed for someone to love her. One amazing weekend, she meets the mysterious man of her dreams, and she follows Archie to Voudou-he promising her wonderful things. As the months go by, he drains her money and her spirit, as he abuses her constantly. After he puts her in a coma, the cops become involved and that was just enough to help her to leave. A friend, Marla helped her gain strength to leave as well. Siince she pulled away from him, Archie has left CD for now....
