I will be organizing this group in the next few weeks, and will be looking to "hire" radio personalities, production, sales, news and promotions staff, and upper management. I am hoping to roll out the station in a month's time, or sooner if possible. Below is a listing of the different duties each role will require to qualify for the job...

*Production staff* Responsible for creating .wavs and other promotionals bits used during sets, sending information to personalities and sales staff, and creating graphics for advertisement. (must have sound editing software and experience with sound production and editing)

*Radio Personalities* (Must have SAM 3(or higher) or other shoutcast supported broadcast software) Experience required. Production of a 3 hour radio show on a weekly basis, more if desired. MUST BE DEPENDABLE, voicing is strongly desired.

*Sales staff* Responsible for contacting local businesses and organizations to sell advertising slots for on-air broadcast. Must have copy writing ability.

*Promotions staff* Responsible for planning and organizing events sponsored by the radio station, including parties, promotional activities and other events, as well as promoting the station and its personalities.

*News Team* Repsonsible for finding interesting and entertaining stories in the den and writing copy to be read aloud on radio sets. Must have a fair amount of interest in seeking out the dirt in the den and bringing it to the surface. May also be asked to contribute to the Hathian Observer.
*Upper Management* Responsible for scheduling, hiring/firing of staff, training and guidance for staff, copy approval, and generally be a pain in the ass/ huge help to the General Manager.

A few notes... in order to be part of WKRK, you must have a working Yahoo account with messenger, for file transfer, request lines and general communications, including staff meetings. You must be available once a week for staff meetings, and you must be an active rp'er in the den with some idea of what is going on, who key players are and the overall theme of the city. This is an urban radio station, and will be operated as such.

A few notes about WKRK-FM...
- It will be roleplayed like a true urban radio station, mixed format. In other words, you can play whatever you want, hip/hop, rap, rock, metal, goth, industrial, classical, jazz, whatever!!! I would love to see different kinds of shows, including a talk radio show, a news show, or even special shows like variety hours, story telling/ poetry readings, and "local" music spotlights.

-This is a RP group, however there is some work involved. To really do this right, and make it fun and interesting, there will need to be some committment from the staff. But the rewards are there, too. People in town will recognize your voice as a DJ, or will know you are on the promotional staff and will approach you for free tee shirts and stuff, you could become a celebrity!

-This is a HUGE opportunity for people to bring RL skills into a really cool project. Graphic design, sound editing, music production... anything goes! Even if you dont want to RP it, but just want to help, hit me up! I am not bad at sound editing, personally, but i suck at PS, and am even worse at design. Some of you have fallen victim to my designed art, and know what i am talking about.

If I dont get much interest in this project, I will scrap it for now, and revisit it later. Just sending out feelers to see if anyone out there would like to help me out! Otherwise, you are all going to be subjected to me taking the stream to play old lewis and dean clips, and the theme to spongebob squarepants, the beverly hillbillies, and married with children will be on constant playback.
