sarah shinobusaidWell, i mean, we all are striving to be the best we can be! to be able to play our character to the best that we can! Though some of us may play characters as dumb as bricks (like the adorable Hannah Young) of terribly intelligent, such as doctors, lawyers, or a stunning blonde murderess. The fact is, we need intelligence ourselve to know how to play a character! I have have long been playing a member of a Medical team on my UFS roleplay and as such, i own a copy of the PDQ for RNs for ideas on how to best treat patients. it improves my RP when i know what i'm supposed to be doing ic instead of just "/me kisses the girl's slit wrists and puts a decorative Hello Kitty bandage on it." i can happily say "/me administers a local anesthetic a few inches from the worst section of the lacerations and steadies the hand as she begins her suture-work..." So, I've heard of a few sites where one can gain access to such information, textbooks and ebooks and charts oh my! but torrents seem to fail me on the ebooks. Sites like BitMe.com are invite only now... i guess i'm asking for folks to share their sources for IC info, maybe share invites to invite-only sites, or possibly share a file or two on skype/msn. <3 |
