Growing up in the ghettos of Houston, Vessa had always had a bit of street smarts and ingenuity to drag herself out of bad situations. Crafty with a lock-pick and quick with her hands she was able to forge a way for herself to get the things she wanted at a young age. When she got older, she blossomed took notice of her new advantages; stringing along men and women alike to suit her needs. As far as jobs go, stripping was lucrative business and easy in her town so she used it to pay for tuition for college. Her luck ran out when a local pimp took more than a casual interest and began a campaign of terror that would drive the young woman away from her home and all she knew to start fresh. With the shadows of her past lurking at the doorway of her future Vessa is more distrustful of people now more than ever. Unused to being alone and without the finer things, she's hellbent on making her way like she's used to. But her preference for dangerous places and dangerous people my lead her down a darker path.
She's saucy and and manipulative to a degree, but weak and needy under the thumb of someone dominant. And with a love of things spendable and beautiful she'll have trouble keeping her hands to herself. Hopefully she'll be able to trust herself and carve a new life from the rubble of her previous one.
