Is it just me or has the whole vibe of CD shifted to vanilla?

Gone are the days of rape pd, the dark rp of gangs and general fuckery. I feel like a lot of the darker rp is starting to die out in favor of vanilla rp because there just are not enough PD members to dish out consequences. I have an alt in the PD and I have seen a lot less arrests, more empty cells and the PD being void of life for hours at a time. What happened to everyone? When did HPD become vanilla? To often do I see people post asking for cops and the calls at most hours of the day going completely unanswered. We need people to step into the role and help out the sim. I feel like crap when I cant be on to answer all the calls and I have had people tell me they will start an RP with the PD and then the person will log off in the middle of RP no explanations. Does anyone want to help me bring back the dark rp to the PD? I may be just a rookie in rank on the alt but I'll teach anyone willing to learn and join! Since people cant do NPC arrests etc we need people to help out. Even if its for a couple of hours a week can you spare time to help?

I am not saying people are not RPing dark rp etc and that no one is doing the cop thing. I just feel like a lot of it has died and just wonder if we can work together to get the ball rolling again. Please dont tear me down Its just what I see, however I am not always on and maybe miss a lot.
