Valaria was raised by your typical family: dad was a fire fighter, mother was a nurse. Both took really good care of the girl... as far as she remembers. From the time she was about 9 to 12, her parents violently abused her, and then from 12-16 they brainwashed her into believing they were the greatest parents ever. When she was about 16, she decided it was time for her to go out and learn about life on her own. Dropped out of high school to travel, and did so by means of hitch-hiking, mostly, because she didn't have any money. From the time she was 18 to now, she has been piecing her life back together from experimenting with drugs and prostitution to finding her parents (who are now dead.) As for personality, she is how she is.
She's no stranger to the streets, but she treats people with all the respect she's treated with in return. She's still learning how to take a compliment, she's witty and sarcastic, but knows when to hold her tongue or be serious when she needs to. Very laid back and can hold her own. Ballerina at heart, no one would guess by the hard self-protecting exterior.
