I haven't seen a Vampire yet. Maybe they really listened to that "No Vampires" sign at the city limits? Maybe, I'm wasting my time here?
But no...wait.
If you cock your head and listen, you can actually hear the sounds of this city breathing. And it is the breath of darkness. Every wall and street pulsates with it. There is evil here, in every pore. It clogs up your nostrils, and chokes up your lungs.
Can you see it, smell it, feel it?
Maybe not. You've been here too long. Bathed in this stench every day until it sticks to your clothes like cigarette smoke and to your skin like napalm.
But don't worry, dear, dark Hathian.
Your endless night is almost over.
The Slayer just rolled in on a Greyhound.
