Anonymoussaid((Enjoy! <3)) [10:41] Gypsy Queller waltzed her way into the DG, the largest grin across those chapped lips. Mismatched hues darted around the empty shop. Perfect. Approaching the counter, she winked at the pimplyfaced barista and dropped her right palm onto the bartop. "Well 'ello there, dove... Two black coffee's.... te' go..." she mumbled, nonchalantly. As the pimplyfaced barista blushed and turned to make the coffee's, Gypsy darted her hues back to Carpe with the greatest of ease. "T'day's eh' perfect day, don't ye' agree?" she asked casually, turning on her heel to lean against the counter, back on her elbows. [10:44] Carpe Diem strolled into the DG, humming to herself lightly, and tripped down the front step and stumbled into Gypsy, nearly taking her down with her. “Woah sorry, still gettin used to these heels,” she mumbled as she caught her balance.; the shifting of the contents of her bag sent a cold shiver down her spine. She shook her head at her clumsiness; the delicate cargo she carried on her back deserved to be treated with more respect and care; or it could kill her. “It is,” she smiled, turning her gaze to Gypsy, who was now standing by the counter. A slight chuckle escaped her lips as she approached Gypsy, sliding her back pack off in the process and carefully draped it to her side. [10:49] Gypsy Queller released the faintest of chuckles at Carpe's words and nearly fatal fall, turning on her heel once more to face the counter as their two black coffees were placed infront of her. She grabbed them both with another wink toward the pimplyfaced barista and glanced up at him, a delicate digit rising to slide her shades down the bridge of her nose to look at him. "Could ye' be eh' doll an' check on tha' umbrella outside? There's eh' nasty hole in th' canvas an', well- it's jus' no' doin' it's job protectin' this pretty lil' face from th' harsh rays of sunlight, ye' unde'stand?" she flirted shamelessly with a sly smirk. The pimplyfaced barista began to blush again but released a nod, moving around the counter and out the door. Good. Her plan of not wasting the cash for the coffee had worked. Two birds with one stone. After he was gone out the door, Gypsy glanced back to Carpe, still holding both their coffees. "Ye' kno' wha' te' do, dove..." she mumbled with another smirk. Mismatched hues shifted down to the [10:56] Carpe Diem nodded to Gypsy with a toothy grin before carefully grabbing the backpack and walking behind the counter. She quickly walked to the coffee machine and peered behind the counter; just as she suspected there was a mass of pipelines between that and the wall; she could only hope one of them was the gas line. She took her bad and carefully placed it on the counter, over the pipes and next to the coffee machine. She would not miss the shitty coffee this place served. She turned on her heels and nodded to Gypsy as her hand slowly moved to her belt and removed the small pocket watch that was dangling from it. “Here,” she smiled to Gypsy holding the watch out to her as she quickly made her way to her. “You do the honors,” she would giggle as she headed for the door. She didn't even want her cup of shitty DG coffee. She had whiskey and pain killers, which were for her shoulder; she was set for the morning. [11:06] Gypsy Queller grinned slyly toward Carpe as she was handed the pocketwatch, her brow arching upward. Setting down Carpe's coffee on the counter, she used her free hand to grab the watch and she moved out to the street, taking a casual sip of her coffee. Her stomach was tied in those good kind of knots that happened when one knew something exciting was about to happen. Like a child in a candystore. This was for Cyrus. This was for Rippen. An eye for an eye. She had burnt down Gypsy's tattoo shop what felt like months ago, and now it was time. An eye for an eye. It only seemed fair. Finally a good distance away from the coffee shop, she turned once more, knowing full well Carpe was close behind. She knew what was coming, as well... She knew... Mismatched hues turned slowly to get one last glance of the coffee shop. The Daily Grind was about to become The Mass Explosion. Without another hesitation, her thumb moved over the side of the pocketwatch. Another casual sip was made on her coffee. She took her sweet time to [11:12] Carpe Diem stood in anticipation, waiting for Gypsy to trigger the bomb. It was such a brilliant idea. “If mercy's a business, I wish it for you. More than just ashes when your dreams come true,” she sang lightly, the words escaping just before the explosion, which nearly sent her flying back on her ass. She struggled to keep her balance in the damn heels she had worn. Her eyes lit up with wonder as the fell upon the blaze, her lips curling into a eerie grin. “fire, fire on the mountain,” she sang methodically in a low tone as she watch the beautiful fire in front of her. [11:16] Gypsy Queller held her small smirk as she watched the fire blaze and heard the singing to her left from Carpe. She took pride in the fact that her best assistant was beginning to take on Gypsy's own characteristics. This meant she was learning, she was growing, she was becoming her own monster. The Carpe she'd first met would have ran screaming, but not now. She simply took a moment to admire her own work before glancing back to Carpe in the silence- only the faint sizzle and pop of ash and burning wood was heard. No. She wouldn't go anywhere. Not yet. This was just too beautiful. She took another casual swig of her warm coffee. [11:23] Carpe Diem slowly leaned forward and plucked the pack of cigs that was strapped to her thigh, she was able to break her gaze from the beautiful ember glow that was being radiated form the fire. She felt her face grow red and the heat from the ever growing flames finally made its way to her, the heat waves caressing her face as they passed. Carpe loved fire. “The more that you give, the more it will take [11:26] Gypsy Queller shot a quick glance behind her at Felicity as she heard her yells about Rippen and simply smirked and turned to glance at the flames once more. No. To all of their disappointments, Rippen was not in there when she'd ignited the chemical bomb... But that was no worry of hers... All that meant to Gypsy was a later playdate. This was simply a warning of things to come. Scuffing her boot across the concrete, she finally glanced back over to Carpe. "Should we get some 'mallows?" she snorted out a small laugh and turned her mismatched hues back to the flames. [11:31] Carpe Diem chuckled lightly with Gypsy's words, her eyes still staring wide at the blaze. She was semi disappointed the bomb had not knocked down the goddamn giant cup of coffee that sat so stupidly atop the DG; oh how she hated that place and its dreadful coffee. She finally broke her gaze from the fire and took notice of the group surrounding the blazing coffee shop; she hadn't even noticed the fire fighters, who were now extinguishing the blaze. “someone always has to come spoil our fun,” she whispered to Gypsy before shooting her a small wink and returning her gaze to the flames. [11:33] Gypsy Queller scoffed out a laugh at Carpe, shaking her head before tossing the last remains of her coffee and the to-go cup toward the burning building carelessly. Turning on her heel, she nodded to Carpe. "Aye. Let's go, then... 'Nough o' this shite..." she mumbled, already heading back to her caravan... |
