This is not going to be a flame post. This is not going to be a attack on anyone, or anything. This is meant to be a view on how the PD seems to currently be doing things, and the hopeful ideas that will spring fourth to make the majority happy once again.

Now to the meat of this sandwich.

We know the PD is corrupt. That it is claimed as Hathians largest gang. Can we stop there and look at this? The PD, being it's own gang? I was under the impression that Hathian was a realistic as possible for RP area in Louisiana. Modern day. The FBI and all of that would exist as well yes?

Well, that truely shouldn't even matter, really. When you come to think of it. When a group of college kids stage a peaceful protest over their views on the cops being corrupt and violent. You'd think the cops would try to set a good example. Let them get it out of their system, and go home...

They are ran over. Nearly killed. As the wounded and non, hover over the downed to try and help them. They are kicked, beaten, and sprayed with mace while doing so. In the publics eye. I ask you all. Is anything going to come of this?

Probably not. I am sad to say, I expect RP to go on like normal tomorrow, or even in a few hours. The RP all of these people did to come out and protest. And then get injured, will have been in vein, I am to believe. That everyone involved will get better after a few days. And the PD will just keep on going with its prior RP engagements and plans.

Why? Why isn't there a spark of idea. "Hey, maybe we can use this to spark the need for change. To pretend to be different." No. There is simply the same old thing. "We do it because we can. Because we have the power, and no one can touch us. People will just fear us more, and that will be that. Moving on."

Why? Is this not viewed with... the.. dare I say it... thought it might be a form of god moding? Is the PD so invincible? I've seen entire gangs taken out. Beaten. Removed from Hathian. And yet the PD cannot be touched at all by even the most elaborate in character actions?

My final question...

Why?
