I am looking for a number of people to get involved in a new storyline, I was a part of a great roleplay around 3 years ago featuring a Serial Killer that was ever expanding and I would like to bring something like this back.

Below is a basic outline of what I am looking to create, I am open to suggestions and advice on how to take it forward.

STAGE ONE - Theory
"The Council" has moved from town to town and being new to Hathian needs to re-establish itself as the Faith people can turn to, but the Reverend is not stupid, he realises that congregation numbers are down and he will need to entice people into his Church. People will start turning to the Church when they start contracting a mystery illness with no known cure, they would either Visit The Council or the Reverend would visit them. After saying a prayer with them and blessing them, he would ask the person to drink from the Holy Cup.. Shortly afterwards they would fully recover.. thus being a "Miracle" - The Council has profited hugely from this in the past and numbers would grow, when people believed the miracle in front of them.

STAGE ONE - Reality
Current Followers of The Council would pay for objects/services around Hathian with money laced in posion, this delivery method has a 75% success rate, if a person who comes into contact with the money, the posion transfers to thier fingers.but if washes thier hands before meals/smoking then they would be a good chance of not being infected. However if they dont.. then in a period of 1-2 days would experience tight chests, buring pains in thier lungs and blurred/restritive vision, which would baffle Doctors and Medics. (A Notecard would be passed to the person receiving the Money and they then have the option to either be involved or not in the RP. But they would be encouraged in either case to "spend or give as change" the money elsewhere - hence spreading the posion more. When the Victim comes into contact then with The Council, the Holy Water has the Antidote mixed into it. "Healing them"

STAGE TWO - Abuse of Faith.
Once the believers increased, The Reverend would appear outgoing and friendly to all, but those that could be position of power or those that are extremly weak souled, would be targeted either for Financial or Power Gains. (This is to be expanded)

STAGE THREE - Helping Souls To Thier Final Destination
There are still going to be a number of people who will not Believe and who are carrying out one of the Seven Sins, Some of these may be found dead around CD, there may be signs or symbols left with the bodies. but they have been moved on to thier final destination. The Council will at some point be suspected in the Murders, but The Reverend in the past has used his Influences gained in Stage Two to avoid any charges....
