Father, I thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon me on this day. Your ways are mysterious, but always good. This morning when I left all I knew behind, I kept my trust and faith in You that You would guide me to the place where I could best serve You. This is that place. I ask your mercy on the souls of the young man and woman that were so viciously attacked before my eyes. It has been said that you will not deny a request, and so I implore you to give strength and healing to the young man, Caylin, and those that love and care for him. And to the woman, Kaylie, and her sister Maddie, I ask... no, demand, that you send your angels to tend to them in this, their time of need. In return, I offer up my own pain and suffering as meager an offering that it is. Let every lash of this whip against me help bring them closer to You, help them to know and understand that there is a place for them in Your heart. I throw myself upon Your everlasting Mercy, Lord, and ask this in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Mary, most Holy Mother of God, pray for me to the Lord our God that I may be worthy of the promises of Christ.
