Hey Guys!

So I've jumped right on my position as manager at The Clam and have a short, but quite detailed list of some changes I want to make happen. The first being a Lottery system!

There will be a few options for the lottery and I'm going to explain them. I will admit I've spoken to a few people about the prize amount and they have shared that they think what I did have was a little too high for the small city of CD.

What I'll do is I'll post up what I came to a conclusion with last night. This si what the lottery will stand at if everyone's happy.

Starts: 1st of every month
Ends: In the last week of every month (I say the last week because I, or whomever draws the name at the end of moth mightn't be ON on the last day of the month.)

The winner will be drawn from a list of names at the end of the month.

This will be RP'd out as having the numbers called out on the tele. This will now most likely be done via the Hathian Observer, that way it'll give Perina time to publish it before the end of the month. Again, hence it being decided in the last week and not the last day of each month.

I think it would make sense though, if in the future it be called out on the radio when that's set up. I did mention tele and was thinking it could be announced via sim wide announcements that you sometimes see the admins do.

But again this would very much be dependant on whether admin were on when it needed to be done and it's far less complicated if the running of the lottery can be done within the Clam staff. Plus it gives us staffy peeps something to DO besides get attacked and robbed by hookers and knives bigger than their welders.

Okay now I'm going to go on a little about scratchies.

It will have a system where people select an option ($1, $5,$10 or lottery) and capture thier name and selection.
This will most likely be held in an object that looks like a Scratchie roll shelf.

Then every 20th (this could, and probably will change, may even be randomized.) person that buys one of the scratchies(The 1, 5 or 10 dollar options) will get an IM from the object telling them they've won the main prize. This will be limited to once a month as well.

The prizes would run as follows:

Scratchies -

$1 = $250
$5 = $1250
$10 = $2500

Lottery -

$20 = $5000

Now. The prizes I DID have. Were:

Scratchies -

$1 = $500
$5 = $2500
$10 = $5000

Lottery -

$20 = $20,000 or $30,000
The lottery if it was this much would be shared between two winners for 20 grand and 3 winners for 30 grand. Essentially leaving each winner with a prize of 10 grand.

I'm going to post one idea at a time. So do not fear, I have plenty more for debate and questioning!
