If you are a criminal ...

The use of guns (hand guns or shotguns - single-fire) is now limited only to those with the new title/role called "CD Armed Criminals". New members will have to fill out an extended section of the application which proves that they understand not to make common power gaming mistakes.

For existing criminals, I'll send a group notice out with a short app to fill out and submit. It will basically be an acknowledgment of the revised sections around combat.

If you are a civilian ...

Not much has changed.

If you'd like to be a worker ...

This group is brand new in the sense we dumped the old one (only 20 people in it anyways).

General roles were created like "CD Bartender" , "CD Clerk", "CD Bouncer", etc. that will allow people to work essentially in any one the 20+ RP establishments in the city.

Should they feel the need to become associated to a particular spot, they can RP or fill out a brief application with the RP manager to get an invite to the unique group. These groups usually tend to have quirky and creative roles 😉

In conclusion...

I highly recommend that folks read the revised RP Guide simply to get up to speed on what we're trying to do here with new members and the kind of RP quality to expect from the community.

Most of the changes was purely done to control the influx of new visitors and mitigate the common ooc disputed area (combat). Gaining membership into CD groups requires answering a couple more questions that simply tests and reinforces the knowledge of our RP guide.

The welcome guide has been shortened, but still considered be the "bible" to anything and everything that CD may have to offer.

Feedback is always welcome 🙂
