I was mulling over the gang wars and cop beatings, and smack downs lately, and the 'police brutality' and it got me thinking of some potential fun roles that the HPD could open up. Not only would it be the shittiest job in all Hathian, but it would give the HPD a cool opportunity to rp The Blue Code of Silence (also known as the "Blue Shield").

Create a new unit - Internal Affairs. 😈 !!!!

For those who are unfamiliar with this unit they are as wikipedia states:

The internal affairs (United States terminology) division of a law enforcement agency investigates incidents and plausible suspicions of lawbreaking and professional misconduct attributed to officers on the force.

The "Blue Code of Silence" for those who are unfamiliar is the unwritten code between officers, that one cop never tells on a fellow officer. One guy shoots a murderer in front of another, the other writes up the falsified report, even though the other knows full well it was illegal.

This sort of interplay-rp could cause all sorts of controversy and shit, good cops being beat down or rising up to try to make the HPD a more respectable precinct [a never ending battle ending in suffering and midnight masked attacks by fellow officers [ awesome ], or threatened, bad cops getting away with 'murder' literally [haha not that they don't already] and then give those bad cops a run for their money - give THEM something to fear besides a Rejects beating. Man, I see huge role play potential, bribes, pressure, threats etc.

Any opinions on this? I'd love to hear any other people's point of view or additional ideas related to this. 8)
