maddy-levenquesaidRippen brought this up in another thread, not many commented on it so I guess I'm bringing it up again as I'd really like to hear some opinions, please 🙂 What's the deal w/ standing around in CD OOCly for hours? In the last two days I've seen more people w/ OOC tags than people willing to RP. To me, when I see your OOC tag up, I'm not gonna approach you for a RP. To me, it says: I'm busy/not interested. Am I right to assume this or should I just ignore the tag and try to RP w/ anyone in the den? Cuz...even in my spaciest moments, if someone RPs w/ me, I'm gonna respond. If I wanna be OOC, I leave the den. If I'm in the den, I wanna RP. Now, I know RL happens and sometimes you gotta walk away for a few but hours of OOC? Why? Also, I'll throw the tag up when I wanna read a really good scene going on but I don't want my character "in the way" or awkwardly involved. Other than that, what's the point of OOC? So we can hang out and chat with people in IM? I don't know...its not so much a complaint as a ....well, I guess it is me complaining b/c here I am. In the den right now, and out of the 8 people I've seen (its early), 5 of them are OOC. A few of them are even dancing around? *shrugs* I'd love to hear some thoughts on this, as I was really looking forward to hearing more when Rippen mentioned it. |
