Been here for years, never really 'introduced' this character, which is a good thing because I re-invented her recently. Gave her a new look and a new name:

"DJ Squeaker" is a 23 year old DJ working at WKRK Radio as the night-show talent. Her given name is Simone Theriault (Pronounced Sea-moan Terry-o).

Born in Southern Ontario, Canada, Simone was diagnosed with Albinism as a child and has grown up with the jeers and judgments of her peers all her life. She learned quickly how to adapt to this and instead of getting bothered by the insults, she owns them. The nickname "Squeaker" was given to her by school-yard bullies trying to imply she was just a rat, as they had only ever known of Albino rats until meeting her.

Her father was Quebecois, and wound up dying in a drunk driving accident when she was twelve. He was sober at the time.

When she was Sixteen, her mother remarried an American marine and they moved to the states where she was eventually granted dual citizenship.

With both Albinism and the constant relocation that comes with being part of a Military family, Simone was never able to make many friends. To safeguard herself, she uses her quit wit and sarcasm to try and keep people at a distance to avoid the inevitable loss when she has to leave them behind.

Squeaker is obsessed with Alice in Wonderland, feeling that her life had dropped her down the rabbit hole when her father died. Also, because of her condition, she tend to over-compensate for her lack of pigmentation with extravagant makeup and a small army of wash-out hair dyes and hair chalk.
