Siddalee 'Sid' Ann Hudson is from a broken home, which is common now-a-days. It was just her, her alcoholic father, and her two half siblings SarahJane, 4 years younger than her, and Zachariah, 4 years older than her. There was no sign of a mother anythere, she couldn't even remember having one. Siddalee didn't know what it was like to have a parent love you, or any adult for that matter, she was being hit and beaten by her father as far as she could remember Her half siblings didn't get it, she assumed it was because Zach was a boy, what her father always wanted, and Sarah-Jane was the baby, and was just oh so cute, while Siddalee was her mother all over again, from what her father's told her. It was the day she turned 5, her father had been drunk again, and she just wanted a birthday cake, he had gotten angry at her constant pleading and had thrown a plate at her, the plate had broke and cut her eye, she's worn an eye patch ever since, it was then Social Services took the kids and put them into care.

She was in the system for a total of 8 years, which didn't surprise her, she was broken, and people don't adopt broken kids... sometimes it was 2 homes a year, and each one of them was shitty, either they had a kid that tried to fight her every chance she got, or the parents weren't what you would call model citizens. One wasn't so bad, there had been a boy named Dean, he had been 17, he took Siddalee under his wing and taught her how to fight.. cause he could tell she'd need it. On her thirteenth birthday she was sent to her last home, the first night she went there it wasn't so bad, but the morning she woke up, the place smelt of alcohol and cigarettes. 2 weeks she had stayed there, even when Tommy the foster Father started to smack her around, or when Llewellyn, his wife, started to call her ugly and scowl at her eye patch. 2 weeks.. and in those two weeks the abuse got worse and worse.. then it happened.

It was a couple days after Christmas, it was about midnight, Llewellyn had gone to some party, and the other kids had been moved to a different house.. it was just her. She heard him come home staggering, and he shouted her name " SIDDALEE! YA LI'L BITCH! WHAT'S ALL THIS SHIT!?" She froze and cursed to herself, she had forgotten to clear the table after dinner, it had been her only chore that day and she forgot. " I'm Sorry!" she shouted and headed out her door, ready to run downstairs and clean it. But she stopped at the head of the stairs, looking down at the Drunken Tommy, she'd try to give him a sheepish smile, but could only see the hate in his eyes. " I'm sorry Tommy! I'll clean it right now!" she went down a step, only to turn right around and run for it, because Tommy was scrambling up the stairs " I"M SORRY"! she'd shout again as she ran for her room, she tried to slam the door but it was too late, he stumbled inside, his weight making her fall back, she tripped over her clothes on the floor and stared up at him. " I'm sorry" She'd murmur again before the beating ensued.

She had woken up on the floor about 3am.. dried blood on her upper lip from her nose.. her body sore. She'd grit her teeth as she got up, she'd look around and would clench her fists. She needed to get out, and she needed to do it fast. She grabbed her school bag, packed as much clothes and things as she could, she had then creeped into Tommy's room and had stolen his wallet, taking everything, she then got on the first bus she found, and got off and the first stop, the town looked shady.. which was good in her mind, they wouldn't care about a broken kid like her.
